Zoozii’s is a family owned and operated business that stems from Amy’s love for glass beadmaking. Amy is supported by her parents, and loving husband, Christopher. Together they create glass shaping tools of the highest quality, providing glass artists with a canvas for their artwork. In addition to shaping tools, they have a variety of specialty mandrels, optic molds and marvers.
Amy has been making beads since 2001, and started Zoozii’s in March of 2004. If you’d like to hear the full story of how they started you can find Amy’s blog post by clicking on the link “How We Started” which can be found on the right column of the blog.
In addition to designing and testing all their tools, Amy continues to make and sell her glass work in her Etsy store.
Amy and her husband, Christopher, have 2 lovely girls, and also manage a small farm in their quiet town in NH. Amy starts each day milking her cow Nellie, and Christoper ends each day making sure the chickens and ducks made it back to the safety of their coops. The girls enjoy collecting eggs, and picking fresh veggies from the garden!
Where did the name Zoozii’s come from and how do you pronounce it? It’s pronounced like Zoozy. The name was a nickname for Christopher and Amy’s dog, Maggie. She was an English Spring Spaniel, who was their first baby, of sorts. She has since passed away but her name, and the impact she made in their lives, lives on!
